The game’s core mechanics revolve around guiding characters (represented as animals) across roads while avoiding obstacles such as cars, trucks, buses, bicycles, pedestrians, road signs, and construction zones.
Gameplay Objectives
Crossy Road The primary objective in Crossy Road is to collect power-ups by crossing roads without hitting any vehicles or objects. These power-ups can be used to unlock new characters, outfits, accessories, and other items for customization purposes. Each character has its unique abilities and strengths that enhance gameplay experiences. Players also have the option to play as a range of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, and others.

Game Modes
The game offers two primary modes: Classic Mode and Limited Mode. In Classic Mode, the player’s goal is to reach a designated location by crossing roads without being hit or running out of lives (each life representing 30 seconds in-game). The mode features static obstacles like cars but no power-ups.
In Limited Mode, players have limited time to complete their objectives. A timer is displayed above the playing field that counts down from a set amount, and each level reached results in the addition of 20-50 seconds on average; for instance, after completing three levels successfully at a speed that would typically provide around six lives (180 seconds), an additional one minute is added onto this clock.
